The Post-Closing Auditor reviews and resolves defect notifications on closed loans.


  • Reviewing Suspension Reports and defect notifications
  • Assessing defects for validity against guidelines
  • Enter and maintain all data in LOS
  • Effectively communicate with external parties to resolve defects via phone or email
  • Follow processes to have documents corrected, verify all corrections and document properly
  • Meet production goals


  • Education: College preferred, High School graduate required
  • Experience Required:
    • Minimum of 2 years processing experience
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
    • Familiarity of FHA/VA requirements
    • Basic experience with MS Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Ability to work an 11:00 am to 8:00 pm shift.
  • Experience Preferred:
    • Thorough understanding of Agency (FNMA/GNMA) guidelines
    • 1 year previous post-closing experience
