    The Release Engineer is a key role which is responsible for creating, monitoring, and maintaining the mechanisms which build and deploy changes through testing and out into the production environment. This position requires excellent organization skills and knowledge of infrastructure and solution delivery as well as proficiency in related processes such as build management, implementation planning, deployment readiness, DevOps principles, and production support. The Release Engineer must have excellent relationship skills to successfully work with Application Developers and Operations teams. 


    • Assume responsibility and ownership of the release platform.
    • Create, monitor, and maintain release pipelines, in accordance with IT policies and procedures.
    • Maintain server configurations based on project need.
    • Find solutions to automate manual processes in the release pipeline.
    • Researching new technologies including creation of a proof of concept.
    • Work closely with server support infrastructure teams to maintain consistency and adhere to IT policies and procedures.
    • Help teams to troubleshoot any issues surrounding releases.
    • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure successful releases



    • Experience with either building and deploying code or building and maintaining the target environments
    • 1+ years’ experience with a Release, Configuration, and Change Management process as part of a software development life-cycle.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
    • On-site attendance Monday-Friday



    • Experience building, maintaining, and configuring Web Servers using Internet Information Services (IIS).
    • Experience with containers, such as Docker
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium
    • Experience with source control systems, such as Git
    • Experience with VMWare ESX vSphere hypervisor
