    The Machine Learning Developer will work closely with a data science architect to develop document recognition services to assist in the mortgage process.


    • Use machine learning techniques to develop document recognition applications
    • Create utilities to prepare and normalize data
    • Work with the data science architect to develop standards
    • Prepare and maintain data used to create trained models, and the models themselves
    • Maintain the applications such as WebAPI and normalization scripts
    • Performance tuning of the trained models
    • Validation of trained models



    • Strong C# coding skills such as OOP, extension methods, LINQ, and Generics
    • Awareness of design patterns such as repository, factory, and composition
    • Awareness of principles such as SOLID, YAGNI, and DRY
    • Knowledge of Ninject (or other dependency injection) concepts such as composition root, scoping, and framework defaults.
    • Knowledge of a logging framework such as Log4Net or Serilog
    • Knowledge of ORM’s and Micro ORM’s such as Entity Framework or Dapper
    • Experience creating workflows and rule engines
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related field



    • Basics of machine learning, such as: common terms, different types, difference between algorithms, and workflows
    • Knowledge of SQL Server
    • Knowledge of WebAPI’s
    • Knowledge of how to read and write Regular Expressions (RegEx)
    • Knowledge of ReSharper
    • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as nUnit
    • Knowledge of TFS version control or Git
    • Knowledge of LINQPad
    • Knowledge of GdPicture
    • Experience with a machine learning platform such as: TensorFlow, Caffe, Keras, or Encog
    • In-depth knowledge of convolutional or recurrent neural networks
    • In-depth knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, or calculus
