    We have an exciting opportunity on our training team for an IT Training Specialist for our Dev-X initiative. You will mentor and help Junior Developers grow their careers by training them on our ever changing technologies and software engineering platforms. You will also get to use your analytical skills in developing metrics to identify needs for future training. This role focuses on the development of training for newly hired team members entering into UWM’s Dev-X program.


    • Facilitate computer based training and provide classroom instruction
    • Develop new training courses around .NET, SQL, and C# programming languages.
    • Develop Academy LMS content as needed
    • Shadow teammates and provide feedback on improving courses and facilitation 
    • Analyze training metrics to identify opportunities to improve outcomes



    • Experience working with C#, SQL and .NET
    • IT Technical training experience OR experience as a Software Developer
    • Demonstrable technical writing skills (Course guides, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Strong experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Adept in working with IT leaders to generate new training
    • Strong verbal and written communication


    • Conceptual knowledge of SCRUM methodologies
    • 2+ years of experience as a Software Programmer or Developer
    • 2+ years of experience working with .NET, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, TFS and MFS
    • 1+ years of classroom training experience
    • Mortgage industry experience
